No, I do not accept insurance, but I do issue receipts called Super Bills that many of my patients submit to their insurance companies for reimbursement.

So, you would come for a session and pay out of pocket for it.  Then, I would give you a receipt called a Super Bill and you would send it to your insurance company and then they would reimburse you what you paid.  

Not in the way that most people fear.  Acupuncture needles are a fraction of the size of hypodermic needles that either deliver medicine or draw blood, so a person may only have experience with those kinds of needles and assume acupuncutre will feel similarly, but it is almost painless for almost everyone.
